Who Are We?

 

We are a small start-up with big aspirations!  Our goal is to provide highly nutrient dense and same day fresh produce, while minimizing the impact of food growing and transportation on the environment.  Polar Greens is an Alberta company and proud to support our local economy by using local inputs whenever possible.

Through research and innovation in the areas of indoor, small scale, and urban agriculture, our long term mission is to provide as many people as possible with the highest quality produce, at the lowest price.

What Do We Do?

The foothills of the Rocky Mountains can be a tough place to grow food!  Because of this our business is split between indoor, year round and outdoor production.  Indoors we use cutting edge LED lighting, soilless growing methods, and vertical farming to bring you the freshest and most responsible products.  In the field we use rain capture, crop rotation, and chemical free growing methods to supply farmers markets, restaurants and small grocers with top notch seasonal produce.

We also offer grow kit products year round ranging from EasyGrow Microgreens to UrbanGrow dwarf and miniature vegetable seedling kits. All our kits are chemical free, use non-GMO seed.
