Environmentally friendly coir is the byproduct of coconut harvesting and does not deplete non-renewable peat bog habitats.
Instruction
- Add 18L (4.75 gal) to 22L (5.8 gal) of water in a large container, less water creates a fluffy and relatively dry mixture, more water makes for a more rapid soak time.
- Wait 30 minutes for the coir to soak up the free water and mix the block for an even product.
- Leave the mix for another 30 minutes to ensure uniform absorption into the coir fiber.
- Use in all your hydroponic or soilless growing applications. With the addition of fertilizer, coir is a long term solution to potted plant or garden growing.
- Seal any leftover coir for later use, the remaining mix should last weeks or more depending on storage conditions. When left to dry or placed in the freezer, it will last indefinitely.
